Motor Skills
  • Uses a mature form on the following skills: throw, catch, kick, volley, dribble with hands, dribble with feet and strike. (S1.B1.a.5) 
  • Develops and refines a creative dance into a repeatable pattern. (S1.B1.b.5) 
  • Jumps and lands for height and distance using a mature form. (S1.B1.c.5) 
  • Develops and refines an individual short-rope routine using a variety of basic skills. (S1.B1.d.5) 
  • Demonstrates the ability to change direction quickly while the body is in motion. (S1.B1.e.5) 
  • Transfers and supports body weight on upper body. (S1.B1.f.5) 

Learning Concepts
  • Demonstrates knowledge of key elements related to throw, catch, kick, volley, dribble with hands, dribble with feet, and strike. (S2.B1.a.5) 
  • Explains the necessity of transferring weight from the back to the front leg during any action that propels an object forward. (S2.B1.b.5)
