Standards / Objectives


Quarter 4-

Students will apply skills gained throughout the year to build a final project focusing on a topic of historical importance in Journalism. This will include a visual presentation, a poster, and a bibliography.

  • Demonstrate technical skills related to careers in the communications field.

  • Use oral and written communication skills in creating, expressing, and interpreting information using technical ideas including technical terminology and information.

  • Use leadership and teamwork skills in collaborating with others to accomplish organizational goals and objectives.

  • Achieve additional academic knowledge and skills required to pursue the full range of career and postsecondary education opportunities within a career cluster.


  • Know and understand the importance of professional ethics and legal responsibilities.

Students will apply skills to create a booklet highlighting each 9th grade student to be handed out at ninth grade graduation


Students will apply skills to complete a booklet highlighting the PJHS track team. This will include pictures, captions, and statistics for the season.
